In February the team dealt with 406 tickets, and achieved an 80% SLA.
We have reduced our backlog to only 68 open tickets we are working to fulfil.
What we've done in January:
Staffing: We have begun hiring for a new IT Support Analyst, to be based out of our Cannock office. We're also hiring for an IT Developer to assist in making new applications to improve the ways we at Westerleigh Group and Distinct Cremations work.
Networking works: The Torbay network has been overhauled, updating the connection between offices, replacing outdated equipment, and tidying the organisation of the cabinet. This has already resulted in a marked improvement of Torbay's network.
Coming up:
IT Site Audits: We have begun audits of the state of the network infrastructure at each site. IT staff will be visiting sites to perform the audit and note any improvement work requirements, such as improvements to Wi-Fi, the network, and power availability for IT equipment and phones.
