We’re experiencing ongoing issues with our printers.
There’s a conflict with our printing software and some Windows programs.
Staff attempting to print from Windows Store apps, such as Photos may encounter issues. We are working with our supplier to investigate the issue to find a resolution. We believe a security update from Microsoft causes this in response to the Log4j Vulnerability currently in the news.
If you see this print box, please do not click print
Printing from Word, Excel, Edge or PDF’s will not be affected unless a previous job has already locked the print queue.
You should be able to clear the queue yourself and then print it again using the temporary workaround stated below. If you are unable to clear the queue, please log a ticket on the IT Support Portal, and we will help clear it as soon as possible
Temporary workaround for JPGs/PNG’s (Photos/Scans for Med Refs/Grave Stones)
Copy the photo/picture from the email to the desktop, then right-click and select Print. This action will then print like normal.
